Nir Lempert

Nir Lempert has more than 25 years experience in in various management roles, both in the military and in civilian organizations. Today, Nir serves as CEO of C. MER industries, focusing on the groups’ vast capabilities as a leading global communication and security systems integrator. Determined to maintain their leadership and relevance, Nir insists on remaining at the cutting edge and offering customers the very latest services, solutions and technologies, including end-to-end solutions in the areas of communication infrastructure, Homeland Security, Intelligence & cyber. Prior to the Mer Group, Nir was the CEO of Zap group for nearly a decade. He led the company’s transfer from a print oriented company to one of the prominent internet groups in Israel. Previously he served as the CEO of Channel 10 and the Executive Vice President of Yes Satellite TV. Both are leading Israeli communication institutes. Nir served 22 years in IDF, as part of Unit 8200, the Israeli Intelligence unit. Among his roles: head of planning, head of the intelligence center and deputy commander of 8200. He retired with the rank of Colonel and carries out the role of the chairman of 8200 alumni association.

Ilan (Elan) Migdal brings to Friendly his extensive experience in the entrepreneurial and Hi-Tech management. Prior to founding Friendly, Migdal co-founded and managed a software startup company specializing in electronic publishing and OCR (optical character recognition) of musical notes, which was acquired by a leading foreign company in this field. Migdal also served as a marketing manager for a large Israeli software house. He has studied programming and systems analysis and has a strong technological background. Oozi Cats
CEO, Founder & BoD of Telit
Mr. Cats, aged 53, has 25 years of experience in creating and leading business ventures. In 2000 Cats founded Telit, then an Israeli start-up for high level engineering and distribution in the field of wireless communications. In 2001 the machine to machine (m2m) department was born and first products have been engineered. In 2002 Cats led Telit to acquire a bankrupt GSM/GPRS handset company in Italy and restructure its human resources & strategy to become an m2m platform. In 2005 Cats took Telit Communications PLC public on LSE (AIM) raising about GBP 20M. With the funds in place Cats globalized the company by adding to its cellular GSM/GPRS core competence also CDMA, EVDO, UMTS and later also HxPA & LTE. In 2006 Cats opened the APAC market, leading Telit to acquire the Korean market leader and started Telit USA in North Carolina. In 2008 Telit acquired a short range technology developer and is currently mastering also ZigBee and Wireless Mesh technology. In 2011 Cats led Telit to a quantum leap with the acquisition of the Motorola m2m division, making Telit the largest Industrial m2m provider in the world. Later that year, Telit laid the foundation for its Platform as a Service (PaaS) division by acquiring Global Connect, then a tiny broker for connectivity services. In 2012 Telit acquired Navman Location Based Technology in California, adding another important and extremely synergetic technology to its varied portfolio. Before 2012 ended Telit acquired Chicago based CrossBridge Communications Inc., topping the already existing PaaS with additional substance. In 2013, the last piece in the PaaS puzzle was been put in place by acquiring Florida based ILS Technology, a unique Cloud based back-end service, making Telit a true Global leader in m2m One Stop One Shop. Still in 2013, Telit announced the acquisition of the ATOP business from NXP, thereby establishing its global leadership in Automotive communication enablement. In April 2007 the president of the Italian republic Giorgio Napolitano awarded Mr. Cats the decoration “Cavaliere dell’ordine della stella della solidarietà italiana”. The Stella della solidarietà italiana was originally instituted in 1947, to recognize those expatriates and foreigners who made an outstanding contribution to the reconstruction of Italy after World War II.

Itzhak Shnaiberg
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Spacecom
Joining Spacecom in 1996, Itzhak Shnaiberg was its 3rd employee and led all financial aspects of establishing Spacecom as an international satellite service provider from its inception. Since joining the company Mr. Shnaiberg served as Spacecom’s CFO, and in 2008 he was appointed to serve as Spacecom Deputy CEO. Before joining Spacecom Itzhak was employed by IAI (Israeli Aerospace industries) in various positions, where in his last role he was part of the AMOS-1 program (Spacecom’s first satellite). Itzhak Shnaiberg holds a BA in Economics and an MBA from the Bar-Ilan University.
