Will Berryman
Chief Executive Officer of Hostworks
Hostworks’ Chief Executive Officer. With a career spanning over 20 years in media, Will is has worked for the likes of ABC, in radio & television and the SBS, as their first Australian CTO. With an international footprint spanning the operation of 350 TV channels across 6 countries, Will brings to Hostworks not only his well known personality but profound experience and ability to enrich media. As a true self-confessed ‘geek’, innately Will enjoys anything incorporating WWW – taking his name to the extreme perhaps. Then again when you’ve operated major digital media facilities in both London and LA, there is no denying the fact Will knows a thing or two about digital. In his earlier career as a reporter and writer, Will produced “HTTP” one of the world’s first web based TV programs. Winning him the Michael Daley ward for journalism in 1996. Digital is in his DNA. After rolling out Nickelodeon’s global online strategy, and directing Fox Studio’s (Australia) New Media initiative, Will decided to relocate to the UK. If possible, he would have cycled there on his ’71 Holsworth. Thankfully as Technicolor’s COO, a ‘virtual’ management of digital media operations in 6 countries warranted him in one piece, not 6.
