Anne built BoMF to a 6.5M operation, and the organization is still going strong today. Anne has been recognized many times for her accomplishments, including being named New Yorker of the Week, Penjerdel’s Citizen of the Year, ABC World News Person of the Week, a CNN Hero, a 40 under 40 recipient in both Philadelphia and Washington, DC and most recently named a recipient of the “Women Mean Business” Award by the Washington Business Journal. She is also featured in a book called 50 Everyday Heroes about individuals who have made impressive changes in the lives of others. Mahlum splits her time between North Dakota, New York, and DC.
