Collaborator of Intelligent Mechanical Non Destructive Testing Project of BMW and Walking Military Robot Project of French-German Research Institute of Saint-Louis. judge of top-tier academic computer vision conferences like CVPR, T-PAM. 11 published research papers in IEEE T-PAMI, SIGGRAPH Asia, ACCV, CVPR. 4 advanced patented inventions on 3D digitizing technology. Cover paper award of IEEE T-PAMI May 2012, numerous prizes for various Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitions sponsored by Chinese authorities. In 2014, I returned to China after completing a doctorate in University of Kaiserslautern, then established 4DAGE Technology Co., Ltd, which within only 4 years has pioneered in the domestic nascent 3D digitization industry. In 2017, the startup cooperated with German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in the establishment of the China-Germany Artificial Intelligence Institute under the witness of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. In May 2018, 4DAGE launched the world’s first consumer 3D Camera 4DKanKan, aiming to make 3D digitization of real scenes possible and simple for individual users. It soon had a great reception from the users. With the mission of “Digital Everything”, 4DAGE with top-level AI brains strives to digitally upgrade museums, catering, real estate and new retail industries. It boasted cutting-edge inventions for high-resolution 3D object reconstruction based on raster devices. 4DAGE is proud with its customer focused 3D camera, 4DKanKan 3D camera.
