He is responsible for defining the strategic technology direction of vLink Global and its investee companies including the evaluation and development of new technology initiatives. He is veteran technologist and international business strategist with over 18 years of experience in technology and business strategy leadership roles in companies including Microsoft and Brocade Communications. Prior to joining vLink Global, Henry Fong served as the Director of Consulting at Microsoft’s Hong Kong subsidiary. Henry Fong led a number of pioneering technology projects including the first broadband portal in Hong Kong, and the largest deployment of Microsoft Windows NT networks in Australia, covering 2,000 sites across the state of Victoria, Australia. At the age of 25, Henry Fong was awarded the Microsoft Asia Star Manager Award in 1999 and was the youngest person worldwide to head up a consulting practice in a Microsoft subsidiary. Under Henry Fong’s leadership, the revenue for Microsoft Hong Kong’s consulting team increased four fold over a two-year period. Henry Fong holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from the Swinburne University of Technology, Australia.
